GENERATIONS HAIR SALON - GIFT VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all gift vouchers issued by Generations Hair Salon (Fuggle Generations Pty Ltd, ABN 71 698 910 691), trading at Shop 7, 1-11 Alison Road, Wyong NSW 2259 and online at generationshair.com.au.
1. Purchasing Gift Vouchers
1.1 How to Purchase
Gift vouchers are available:
Online via our booking system at generationshair.com.au (digital vouchers - delivered by email)
In salon at Shop 7, 1-11 Alison Road, Wyong NSW 2259 (physical cards available)
1.2 Available Denominations
Gift vouchers are available in the following amounts:
$50, $100, $150, $200
Custom amounts are available on request - please contact us to arrange
1.3 Payment
Gift vouchers must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Payment may be made by card in salon or via our secure online payment system for digital vouchers.
2. Redeeming Gift Vouchers
2.1 How to Redeem
Gift vouchers may be redeemed:
Against any service provided at Generations Hair Salon, Shop 7, 1-11 Alison Road, Wyong
Against retail product purchases in salon
As part payment toward a higher-value service - the balance is payable by the client at the time of the appointment
2.2 Presenting Your Voucher
Digital vouchers: present the voucher code or email confirmation at the time of your appointment.
Physical cards: present the card in salon at the time of redemption. Physical cards must be in good condition and legible.
2.3 Voucher Codes
Each gift voucher is issued with a unique code. Please treat your voucher code as you would cash. Generations Hair Salon is not responsible for vouchers that are lost, stolen, damaged, or used without authorisation.
2.4 Multiple Vouchers
More than one gift voucher may be used in a single transaction.
2.5 Change
No change will be given where a voucher exceeds the value of the service or product purchased. The unused balance remains on the voucher and may be redeemed at a future visit.
3. Expiry
Gift vouchers expire 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on physical cards and included in digital voucher confirmation emails. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed, extended, or refunded. We recommend booking well in advance of the expiry date to avoid disappointment.
4. Non-Refundable
Gift vouchers are non-refundable. Once purchased, a gift voucher cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, regardless of the circumstances. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where a voucher cannot be redeemed due to our error.
5. Not Redeemable for Cash
Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and have no cash value. They may only be used toward services and retail products at Generations Hair Salon.
6. Not Transferable for Refund
While gift vouchers may be gifted to another person for use at the salon, they may not be sold, transferred for monetary value, or exchanged.
7. Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Generations Hair Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers. If you believe your voucher code has been used without your authorisation, please contact us immediately at info@generationshair.com.au or 02 4390 5260. We will investigate where possible but cannot guarantee a replacement where fraudulent use cannot be verified.
8. Booking Requirements
Redeeming a gift voucher does not remove the requirement to hold a valid deposit for services where a deposit is required. Please refer to our Booking Terms and Conditions. If you cancel or do not attend your appointment, the deposit conditions of our Booking Terms apply, and the forfeited deposit will be deducted from the voucher balance.
9. Business Closure
In the unlikely event that Generations Hair Salon ceases trading, your rights in relation to unredeemed gift vouchers will be governed by the Australian Consumer Law. Gift vouchers are a liability of Fuggle Generations Pty Ltd, ABN 71 698 910 691.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Under the Australian Consumer Law, gift cards and vouchers sold from August 2026 must have a minimum expiry period of 3 years. As our vouchers carry a 12-month expiry, please note this is a shorter period — we recommend redeeming your voucher promptly.
