Generations Hair is a family salon - and weddings are part of our family story. Between us we've lived, worked, and breathed the bridal world for decades. When you trust us with your wedding hair, you're in the hands of people who genuinely understand what this day means.
Liz Fuggle - owner of Generations Hair, spent six years working in bridal retail at Abbey Bridal in Sydney, one of Australia's most respected bridal boutiques. Liz grew up immersed in the global bridal industry, with the family owning and running multiple Bridal boutiques and brands. This developed the understanding about not just the fashion but the emotion, the importance of detail, and the significance of every element of a bride's preparation.
Liz is also a mother of six daughters - five of whom are married. Chelsea Murray, our senior stylist, crafted the hair for most of those weddings. When Liz and Chelsea say they understand what a bride needs on her wedding morning, they mean it in the most personal way possible.
This is a family and a salon that knows weddings - from the inside.

How your bridal journey works

Tell us your date, venue, and vision. We'll confirm availability and send you a personalised quote within 48 hours.

Book with deposit
A 50% deposit secures your wedding date. Dates are not held without a deposit - book early for peak season.

Your trial
4–8 weeks before the wedding, you come in for a full trial. We plan the style, test the hold, and get it exactly right.

Wedding day
We arrive calm, prepared, and ready. You and your party relax. Your hair looks incredible. The day begins.

Larger bridal parties are quoted individually. Mobile service (within 30km of Wyong) is included at no additional charge. Beyond 30km, a travel surcharge applies - confirm at enquiry.
THE BRIDAL TRIAL
Why the trial is non-negotiable
The trial is where the magic happens. It's not a practice run - it's a full appointment where we plan your wedding day hair from the ground up. We will work with your hair's natural texture, your dress neckline, your accessories, and your vision to create a style that's uniquely yours.
We recommend booking your trial 4–8 weeks before the wedding. It gives you time to live with the style, share it with the people whose opinions matter, and request any tweaks before the day.

Inspiration photos, your veil and hair accessories, pictures of you wearing your bridal gown (needed to understand

Everything you need to know
How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible — especially for Saturday dates between September and May. Peak season wedding dates can book out 6–12 months in advance. We recommend enquiring as soon as your date is confirmed to avoid disappointment.
Is the trial really necessary?

Yes - and it's included in every package for a reason. The trial is where we get to know your hair, test the style, and confirm everything is exactly right before the wedding day. We will not take a wedding day booking without a trial having been completed.
Do you come to our venue?

Yes. Mobile service is available within 30km of Wyong at no additional charge. For venues beyond 30km, a travel surcharge will be quoted and agreed before your booking is confirmed. Please advise your venue address at enquiry.
What if I need to change my wedding date?

Contact us as soon as you know. We will do our best to transfer your booking to the new date, subject to availability. Please refer to our Bridal Booking Terms and Conditions for the full policy on postponements and cancellations.
Can you do hair extensions for the wedding?

Yes. We specialise in extensions and can incorporate extensions into your bridal look for length or volume. Extensions for the wedding day need to be fitted and ready before your trial appointment. Discuss this with us at enquiry.
How much is the deposit?

A 50% deposit of the total quoted booking value is required to secure your wedding date. Your date is not held without a deposit. The balance is due 14 days before the wedding. Full details are in our Bridal Booking Terms and Conditions.
What if I want a hair colour before the wedding?

Absolutely - we can provide colour services in the lead-up to your wedding. We recommend a colour appointment 2–4 weeks before the wedding (not the same week) so the colour has time to settle perfectly. Book colour and trial appointments together at enquiry.
